  •  The Supreme Court has pledged to continue working towards free and fair elections, in order to rid the country of corrupt leaders. The court has stated that the entire nation is standing with the constitution, and they will not stop until their goal is achieved.

Imran Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), strongly criticized the corrupt cable imposed on the nation by Gen (Retd) Bajwa, which has plunged the country into deep crisis. He vowed that the PTI would hold rallies every day from next week until May 14, when Punjab Assembly elections are scheduled as directed by the Supreme Court. In a massive rally in Lahore on Saturday, he expressed solidarity with CJP and SC, and said that the people of Pakistan have decided to stand with the Constitution and against the mafia that is putting pressure on and doing propaganda against the CJP and other judges.

He announced that the PTI had already held rallies in all provinces, districts, and over 4000 UCs with one slogan: “I Stand With Supreme Court”. He also revealed the plan for daily rallies, and said that he would come out and prepare the public to protest if elections were not held. Imran Khan believes that when a country’s Constitution is violated, it means the justice system and the rule of law have ended, and most of all, it means that the nation has lost its freedom and become slaves.
